Jennifer’s Note (June 2021) The posts that follow document my very first trip on Route 66 in August 2000. At the time, I created a standalone website dedicated to that trip, which included daily travel logs, planning notes, resources, and trip preparation details. As my travels continued over the years, the website evolved considerably. I later created a separate website documenting my future husband’s travels. When we married, the two sites were merged and eventually became Road Trip Memories, which ultimately transitioned into the blog format you see today.
