The Road Maven and The Road Maveness!
I originally started this site as an "online scrapbook" and information
resource for my first Route 66 vacation. The site has changed over time to
have the main page as Road Trip Memories; then Pat (The Road Maven) and I have
our own separate sites within that. The Road Trips section chronicles - what
else - our road trips together. I have expanded it to include new road trips
to a variety of places as well. The U.S. has plenty of two-lane roads to
experience!
I hope you decide to slow down and take the old two-lane U.S. highways
whenever possible. I know the Interstate is safe, fast and reliable, and has
its benefits…but admit it – aren’t you tired of visiting the same boring,
generic rest stops over and over again? See America - not Generica!
